2. Privacy

We collect customer information necessary to fulfill orders, deliver services, provide support, and comply with legal obligations in the UAE. This may include name, contact details, delivery/billing details, and order records.

Payment card data is processed by Stripe and is not stored by Buildplate. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal data.

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with payment, logistics, and technology providers strictly for service delivery and compliance.

3. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery (or service completion) by contacting us with order details and issue description.

For filament and standard items, products must be unused, in original condition, and returned with original packaging unless defective or delivered in error.

Custom manufacturing, prototyping, and made-to-order items are generally non-refundable once production has started, except where required by applicable UAE law or where defect/non-conformity is verified.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing timelines depend on banking/payment partners.

4. UAE compliance note

This policy is intended to align with applicable UAE consumer protection and e-commerce requirements. If there is any conflict between this policy and mandatory UAE law, the mandatory provisions of UAE law will prevail.
